Herald API
Utilize Herald's dedicated endpoint for Surplus Taxes and Fees to return taxes, fees and document information.
If you are a customer of Herald, you can use their /quote endpoint to retrieve detailed quote information - including pricing, coverage and status updates, to expand on the insurance quoting experience within your organization.
The surplus lines tax and fee details powered by InsCipher is leveraged by this endpoint in the priceDetails object, helping Herald users get accurate tax surcharge data as part of the overall insurance quote.

InsCipher remains the source of truth for all surplus lines taxes and fees within Herald - while Herald manages the API integration itself and attaches any related tax documents returned from InsCipher to the quote.
