Getting Started
InsCipher offers extensive connectivity solutions for Surplus Lines Tax businesses.
To begin testing the InsCipher API, use the sandbox API key provided during setup by your Customer Solutions lead.
Making Test Requests
Input your API key
Utilize your API key in the apiKey input within the Headers section. This will auto-populate the request for the specific endpoint you are testing.
Add parameters
Required fields are marked in red. While only these are mandatory, including other parameters can improve response accuracy. Some fields have editable Default To values for examples.
Choose your development language
Select from various languages for quick setup with example calls, or to test directly in the documentation. Your request history is available under Recent Requests, limited to your active session.
Make a request
Click 'Try It!' to execute the request and receive an immediate response. Response headers can be viewed by expanding the Headers pane below the request window.

To quickly get an example request for any endpoint, skip steps 1, 2, and 4 and copy example data from the Examples section by clicking the copy button at the bottom left.
