Helpful detail in understanding the reasons behind common AIM integration errors.

Integration Connection is Lost

In the event of a connection loss, the following initial steps can be taken to ensure an expedited issue resolution:

  1. Review organizational network settings
    Check that the url where the AIM integration service is running, https://ims.surpluslines.inscipher.com, is not being blocked by your organization's internal network protocol / firewall.
  2. Manually restart the Integration service and regenerate token
    From the Windows Command Prompt (WIN + CMD) on the directory that the integration client is active, enter:
    net stop "InsCipher AIM Integration"
    net start "InsCipher AIM Integration"
    
    The Integration service should confirm that it has both stopped and started back up again successfully after entering these commands. Once this step is complete, navigate to the Integration Wizard Step 2 and regenerate a new token.
